Windows movie maker narration recorder thingy?

Alright my old lap top (died now no use wont turn on ya its done for) had a Windows movie maker on it that could record songs without a mic so I could get ANY song off the internet by using the narration recording function, now that my laptop is gone and the only computer I had with that speaical WMM ablity I cant get songs for Movies or Itunes *sniffle*...


But I want to know if there is any program I could download for free that would work with Windows movie maker for songs (dont say limewire tried them SPY WARE) or if there is another more updated version of Windows movie maker that would come with this wonderfull (and very muchly missed) narration record straight from the computer thingy.

I use limewire.


it sure has spywares, but all programs to download songs has it too


just get norton 360 honey, you wont have problems with viruses anymore and just download limewire because it is the best one in my opinion.

Reply:you need to save the "capture device" for the narration as your sound card.





to figure out your sound cards name go into your "control panel" it's under the start menu in settings. when you open up your control panel click on "sounds and audio devices" then click on the "audio" tab, the name of your sound card will "default device"





then go into wmm and select the narrator and click on "more options" set the audio device as your sound card and that should do it.
Reply:I use Norton's also and limewire with no problem and I make a lot of movies also. So that is either a good combination or I have been lucky, but I believe that it is a good combination as was said before by someone else
